Jonathan & Kyle’s Sophisticated Wedding at The Stockroom in Raleigh, NC

Kyle & Jonathan had the wedding of their dreams at The Stockroom in downtown Raleigh which is rustic yet refined and perfect in every way!  We got to know Kyle & Jonathan really well in the months leading up to this affair and enjoyed every minute of it. From the first moment we knew this would be a fun but challenging wedding with lots of new traditions happening. The guys chose Sweet SaraBelle as their wedding planner. Sarah and her team are AMAZING and did not disappoint. There were so many unique and amazing touches to this wedding like the giant chandelier from Themeworks, romantic and exciting uplighting, their ceremony arrangement with guests surrounding them and, oh by the way, a drag show or two!

The playlist was a mix of contemporary, energetic, fun and timeless. We started off their wedding reception with their grand entrance to ‘Chasing the Sun’ by The Wanted and then we went directly into a They chose ‘Because You Loved Me’ by Celine Dion for their First Dance but we had some fun and *record scratch interruption* into a performance by the drag queens! Below you can see the great shots captured by Shane Snider Photography who is so, so easy to work with and very impressive.

Tessa & David’s Wedding at The Cookery in Durham, NC

TD-349Tessa & David were married and had their reception at The Cookery in Durham, NC.  This wedding had a very classic feel yet was a ton of  fun for all of their guests and all of us wedding vendors too.  Most of the guests came in from out of town and were treated to an absolutely amazing evening of celebrating with the newlyweds.  We could immediately tell that everyone was old friends and this was going to be a special night … and it was!  This crew had some very unique song choices (which makes it fun for us)  and everyone packed the dance floor all night.  Tessa and David absolutely did not want any group dances like the Electric Slide or Cupid Shuffle.  You can scroll down to see some of Tessa & David’s fun music choices and some of the great photos of the evening.
